I used to dislike being sensitive. I thought it made me weak. But take away that single trait, and you take away the very essence of who I am. You take away my conscience, my ability to empathize, my intuition, my creativity, my deep appreciation for the little things, my vivid inner life, my deep awareness of others pain, and my passion for it all.
I know Iβm different. People call me weird, strange maybe cause I donβt adhere to most Ideas or philosophies that people believe in.
Being sensitive is difficult, amazing that you accept it. Keep at it. You are doing great. Morning rambling?

I’m glad that you appreciate my presence, I know i’m scarce, lol lost in reality? I prefer to think that i’m in my own universe. Maybe you are as well. Silence does talk, what has it told you?

If all were sensitive by nature there won’t be any violence or killing in the world

True. We have lived our lives by the assumption that what was good for us would be good for the world. We have been wrong. We must change our lives so that it will be possible to live by the contrary assumption, that what is good for the world will be good for us. And that requires that we make the effort to know the world and learn what is good for it.

Hahahaha….life is funny…you can go through it feeling as though you don’t measure up–only to realize one day that there are so many others like you, and that what had caused such pain and confusion is the very thing that makes you amazing π

It’s my personal idea, that the weird and the misfits are the ones really capable of changing the world. Because they see the world for what it is and don’t crave to blend in. It is truly an appreciative and laudable trait for a person to be sensitive. I would prefer someone who knows the value of sentiments rather than an indifferent effigy who finds it less ‘masculine’ to be vulnerable. It is a commendable quality, not a weakness.
Sensitivity is a forte in this cruel world; you may think this makes you weak, but instead it makes you strong. It makes you different. It makes you real.
I’m so glad you wrote this post. It reaffirmed my thoughts. Loved your post! π

It’s great to hear from someone sharing the same equilibrium π
I guess real warriors in this world are the ones that see the details of another’s soul. They see the transparency behind walls people put up. They stand on the battlefield of life and expose their heart’s transparency, so other’s can finish the day with hope. They are the sensitive souls that understand that before they could be a light they first had to feel the burn. π
