Most women go through life looking for love, and looking for someone to treat them like a queen. For some women finding real love seems to be something that will never happen. I believe that finding love is not as hard as people make it seem. The reason that some women can’t find real love is because they look for more than just real love. A lot of women know what they need in a relationship, and that’s for a man to love that woman with all of his heart, and to treat her real good. Most women have guys in their life or guys that try to get with them that could really love them and treat them real good. Those are usually the guys that get forced into that friend zone or rejected upfront. See those guys could give them what they need, but not what they want.

Wants” can be anything from a woman wanting a man to have certain materialistic things, or she could want him to look a certain way, those are a few examples of the things that some of them want, but they vary depending on the female. What some females don’t understand is that none of the things that they want has anything with love or how that person will treat you. You could find a man that looks perfect, has a house and car, he can be a college graduate with a good job, and you could still end up being with a person that doesn’t truly love you, and will treat you like shit. What I am trying to say is that the person who could treat you good and really love you could already be in your life, but you could have been blinded by the things you want in a man so you overlooked the person that you were really looking for.

And by the way there are men that do the same thing; I just wanted to be clear on that.

  1. In my opinion, MOST of the women and men know what they want and what they need… But there are some exceptions. Second, if they expect something from their partners, you may not categorise it as “Wants” and I think that’s natural…. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.
All on all, I liked the way you put your thoughts in a sophisticated manner and the friend zone part was quite humorous.. And let me tell you, there are women also who get friend zoned!

    1. I think you haven’t quite understood the gist of my post Deepika. And I differ on most points in your statement related to this, but that’s fine. It’s your view. 🙂

  2. I agree with your observations, I have seen that happen sometimes, I also see that sometimes, it is more of a convenience thing because they are lonely, or they’re too scared to be alone, so jump towards the first people who show them affection, and hope it works out, Love and relationships are a complicated thing.

  3. Insightful 👀

Now, which type of love do you think people want? Hint: there are 4 types defined by the Greek. Love is different from companionship. You can love someone who is not your companion. Can’t you? A lot of people say they want love but they just truly want a companion that hits there whole list. (Btw I am also guilty of such)

    1. Thanks dear. I’m honored and grateful to be acknowledged. Sadly, I don’t do blog awards for reasons I have mentioned in one of my earlier post. Thanks again for your consideration.

  4. I love this post. Most times we should go for what we need and not what we want. When we get what we want, our needs may not have been satisfied yet.. Wants fade with time… Needs keep popping up. Great work dear.. Love this post

    1. So true. What we want is never simple. We move among the things we thought we wanted: a face, a room, an open book and these things bear our names –

  5. So the moral of the post as per my understanding is don’t look for materialistic things that a man or woman have ,look for the beauty of their soul which will remain with you forever.Right ?

    Hope you are doing great.
It’s been long time since I came to your site.Happy for being in connection again.

  6. Nope. The moral is that one can’t search for both the need and wants on a single platter. When one can find what they are searching for, why mess up for little pleasures when the idea is to find true love in someone.

Good to see you too Payal. Hope Sydney is taking good care of you 🙂

    1. Well I wish the so called English language should have coined a term that lets a certain section to be taken account for the wrongdoing rather than the whole. So, don’t blame me for that and I like speaking the truth irrespective of the genders 🙂

      1. Well the so called English language has enough terms already! U just need to frame your sentence that way…! And I am not blaming you for anything. I just expressed my views on the matter. But your truth might not be the absolute truth all the time!

      2. I don’t really understand what’s your fuss is all about. The title and the last line clearly points out that it isn’t biased towards a particular gender. It’s okay to disagree with the thoughts and opinions expressed by me. That doesn’t give you the right to deny any sense that they might make. Nor does it give you a right to accuse someone of poorly expressing their beliefs just cause you don’t like what I’m saying. Learn to recognize good when you read it, even if it means overcoming your pride and opening your mind beyond what is comfortable.

      3. God!! Talking about pride, yours is certainly hurt! Anyway, I really have other stuff to do than fighting like kids. So I am letting this go, but if you write a blog you really should learn how to be tolerant towards other opinions! And, yeah let alone denying sense I never accused you at all, you said English language doesn’t have enough words and I said that if it doesn’t then you should frame your sentence in a way that it doesn’t need extra words! I said that in reply to your comment. It wasn’t about ma accusing you of anything!

      4. Wow, stop judging me. No one’s here to fight. I wrote in my personal space and you are entitled to your opinion which no can deny and I respect that. Rather than telling me to show up some restraint, I do urge you to read my post all over again cause all I feel is that you are beating around the bush. Peace out 🙂

    1. Lol I do get bitten quite often for my views. In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things one have long taken for granted. Hope I don’t get banished 😀

      1. Honest opinions which aren’t disguised as sly digs, and are just pure in intention, are not banishment worthy! 😂

    1. The world loves to be amused by hollow professions, to be deceived by flattering appearances, to live in a state of hallucination and can forgive everything but the plain, downright, simple, honest truth.

  8. Love is a deliberate action. I think this post alludes to that. But whether the person is in your life and you haven’t noticed it is still based on compatibility. At least that’s what I think.
